To receive a fax as an email address, you need to
To set up your dmFax email address, follow these steps:
1) Log in to your Clubhouse
2) Click on the icon for your dmFax number. A new window will open, displaying your dmFax control panel.
3) Click on the 'Gateway' tab. You'll see a window like this:

4) Enter your email address
5) Specify the format you'd like to receive files in (we recommend PDF for most operating systems, and you may want to receive them as zip files if you're concerned about mailbox space)
6) Click Save.
7) Get a friend to send you a test fax, to make sure it's working.
To view a fax as an email attachment, you'll need suitable software installed. The software you use will vary depending on which operating system you're using. However at the time of writing (September 2010) most standard computer operating systems include a PDF (Public Display Format) viewer
When you receive the email containing the fax, simply double-click on the attachment to open it. Your attachment should open automatically.

4) Under 'Image format', select the right format for your viewer (for guidelines, see the table below).
In general, we recommend downloading and installing a PDF reader. To find a suitable reader for your operating system, see the table below.
