Script Wizard Help for Department Setup

This page must be completed for each department specified on the reception page.

The Greeting is played every time the caller enters the department.

The Type of department is one of the following:

Team Divert
  • Specify a list of phone numbers to try putting the caller through on. The system will place calls to these numbers one at a time, in order until it gets an answer.
    It will announce "<Organisation Name> <Department Name> call" and wait for a # (to accept) or a * (to reject) the call. This default can be modified on the Script page
  • While all this is going on, the caller will hear a ringing tone.
  • If unable to put the call through, the system can either retry up to a specified timeout (default 1 minute) or put the caller through to voicemail.
  • Once the call is over, or the voicemail message has been left, the caller is returned to reception.
Information
  • Enter a set of messages to play the caller.
  • When the caller is put through to the department, they will hear each message in turn, with the option to skip or replay each message
