Converting existing dmVoice/dmFax numbers

If you have an existing dmVoice or dmFax number that you wish to convert to dmSwitchboard, simply:

1 Login to your Clubhouse and click on your main number.

2 Click the "General" tab

3 Select "dmSwitchboard blank" from the Copy Settings dropbox, and click "Copy"

4 Confirm your choice

Please note that this would erase your current settings and it may be best to sign up for a development number, get that working and then copy it into your current number. See below for an explanation of how to use "development" numbers.

Development numbers

dmSwitchboard comes with a unique feature. You can develop your switchboard on a "development number" and then copy the entire switchboard (script, sounds and settings) to your main/existing number. This allows you to change and test your switchboard prior to making it available to clients and without disrupting your current calls.

Once you have obtained a dmSwitchboard number to use for development, refer to these dmNotes to personalise it:

Then, to copy the development switchboard to your main number, simply follow the steps as above, but copy the settings from your development number, instead of from "dmSwitchboard blank".
