- Get 60 months for the price of 50 months at your current monthly cost. For example, dmConnect or dmConnect12 would be 50 * £3 = £150 (+VAT where applicable)
- For an additional £50 setup fee you can have the number “for life” (see FAQ down the page). For example, dmConnect or dmConnect12 would be 50 * £3 + £50 = £200 (+VAT where applicable)

What do you mean "for life"?
For as long as the organisation/individual who owns the service wishes to use it.
Are there circumstances by which it might not be "for life"?
Our terms and conditions allow us to change prices etc when regulatory or economic circumstances change.
When it becomes unclear who the owner of the service is.
When the owner of the service does not keep us up to date with their contact details.
Any breach of our terms and conditions which we judge to be serious.
Do I have to do anything to keep the number for life?
Yes, we ask you to:
Make it clear who the owner of the account is.
Make sure you occasionally use the account
Keep us up to date with your contact details.
How can you afford to do this?
We have done analysis on the typical usage of our accounts and believe that it is viable.
A number of clients like the simplicity of a for life payment and we are happy to help.
If I'm part way through a contract do I have to wait for my renewal?
No, please contact the support team. We will refund any full months remaining on your current contract back into your account credit.
Can I transfer/sell my "for life" account?
Probably yes, but we would assess each case on the circumstances. There might be a £50 setup charge to cover the administration (it would cover up to 10 accounts).
If I hover over my clubhouse/myservices/account icon I see a finite end date for my "for life" service. Is there a mistake?
Yes, it is on our backlog of development, we were taken by surprise how popular this was as we had initially only done this as a special favour for an old customer.
What happens to my "for-life" number if Digital Mail goes bust?
In the telecoms industry, customers are very valuable. Any liquidator would prioritise an orderly transfer of the customer base to another company (although it may sound horrible that they would regard you as an “asset” to be cherished!).
What happens to my "for-life" number if there is new management or Digital Mail gets taken over?
The "for life" has 2 parts:
- 60 months line rental up front
- Setup fee
It’s incredibly unlikely that a new company would breach the terms and conditions on the 60 month contract as they’re pretty clear. We can only change our tariffs due to regulatory reasons or change in economic circumstances. The industry precedents are in your favour.
The setup fee may be more contentious and may be open to interpretation. We think that it’s good business, because we have a set of really good add-ons that we think you’ll love.
I am thinking about buying a number for life, but I might want to "upgrade" to a gold number, can I transfer the "for Life" to the new gold number?
Probably: We love giving our customers gold numbers, as if makes them feel good about our service, and it encourages people to call the. So probably we would do the upgrade.
But do not forget that people may already have your old phone "for life number" in their phone books, so you might need to run the two numbers in parallel. So we would consider this on a "case by case" basis.
There might be a small admin charge, unless it was a really nice gold number!
What about if I want to do this for lots of numbers?
We can offer further discounts for those with between 20 and 200 numbers with us.
