Voicemail for dmSwitchboard12
You are able to set up voicemail for teams and personal extensions on the dmSwitchboard12.
When a caller goes to voicemail and leaves a message, that message is turned into a .wav file and emailed to the address specified in the Plan.
Both teams and individuals are able to set:
- The hours during which the message is played (if not company default)
- The length of time that the phone will ring before going to voicemail
- The message that will be played to callers
- The email address to which the .wav file is sent
Setting up voicemail
To set up your voicemail, for a team or an individual, you need to:
- Logon to your Clubhouse
- Click the dmSwithboard12 icon to access the dmSwithboard12's Plan Editor
- Select the appropriate Plan from the list
- Select either the Team or the People tab
- Select ADV OPTS to go to the Advance Options screen
Setting an outgoing message (OGM)
By default, all extensions that have voicemail (team and personal) will have a very generic message (with an american female accent) "The person at extension XXX is not available. Record your message at the tone". You may well wish to set your own OGM. You can pre-record up to 9 OGMs for each extension and then select when you wish to use via the telephony interface.
x901 My-VoiceMail-Access extension
Call extension 901 - Voicemail Access, then select option 5 (advanced) then option 1 (record greeting) then an OGM index (eg. 1). You will then be invited to record an outgoing message.
x902 Any-VoiceMail-Access extension
From any Personal Extension on the same switchboard, dial 902 - Any Voicemail Access, then enter the number of the extension in question, followed by the PIN for that extension. You then have the same options as x901 (above).
