Access your voicemail
You can access voicemail messages in two ways:
- By phoning your control number and listening to recordings over the phone
- By receiving and playing back messages sent to you as MP3 email attachments.
Accessing voicemail over the phone
To access your voicemail over the phone, follow these steps:
1) Dial your control number - 020-7060-2737
2) Enter the number of your dmVoice number
3) Enter your PIN
(NB: You have to set up the control number PIN from your Clubhouse control panel - it's not the same as your Clubhouse login PIN. For instructions on setting up your control number PIN, click here.)
4) Follow the recorded prompts to access your voicemail.
Access your voicemail as email attachments
Making sure you can play the attachments
To access your voicemail as sound file email attachments, you need a reasonably up to date media player installed on your computer. We recommend you use the latest version of Windows Media Player, RealPlayer, or Winamp.
If you haven't got any of these, you can download them easily from the Web. Try http://www.real.com for Real Audio (*.ra) files, or http://www.winamp.com for *.mp3 or *.wav files.
Opening and playing voicemail attachments
When you receive a voicemail in your email inbox, you'll see an email containing basic information about the voicemail.
To play back the voicemail, just click on the attachment in the email. Your chosen MP3 player should open automatically, and play back the message.
Selecting the format for your voicemail sound files
Sound files come in different formats, and different media players are compatible with different types of sound file.
To select the format you receive your messages in, select the "Gateway" tab on your account settings page. Choose the "Sound Format" and "Email Format" from the relevant menu items.
