You can get FreePbx to emulate a SIP handset (a User Agent) to allow it to receive calls from dmConnect12 or dmSwitchboard12
dmConnect12: Setup in Medium Mode, and check the VOIP box. Take a note of the SIP credentials (cut and paste is your friend)
dmSwitchboard12: Create a personal extension with VOIP enabled. Look inthe advanced tab for the SIP settings
Go to the FreePbx trunk settings and make an entry like this
Obviously, you will need to make substitutions to personalise it to your account:
